year of the dragon

rambutan, custard apple and longan yumm

watermelon seeds, candied coconut, candied lotus seeds, peanut and black sesame snacks...
cupcakes my sister made for a party - she made lamingtons too!

Getting ready for Vietnamese/Chinese New Year (Tết), which is tomorrow and should be fun because all my family will be here, yay. My family isn't particularly "Asian" in the sense that we don't believe in Vietnamese superstitions or follow customs like not sweeping the floor on the first day of Tết, but we definitely celebrate this! I'm looking forward to all the fruit and food that we'll be having tomorrow...as well as those red packets of money haha.
